Are You Aware: Windows 10 End of Life

Are you aware of what OS your computer is using?
If it is running Windows 10, then you must know that Microsoft is ending it’s support (End of Life) for it on October 14, 2025. That’s in 3 ½ months!
What does that mean?
It means that Microsoft will no longer provide free software updates, technical assistance, or security fixes.
Will my computer stop working?
No, but without updates it will become more vulnerable to security breaches, have compatibility issues (especially with new programs and hardware), and will degrade over time.
So, what can my company do?
Call ITS! We can identify if your computers are compatible for a Windows 11 upgrade, and work with you to set a plan in motion for upgrading all your company devices.
Be aware though, that some hardware options currently running Windows 10 or below will not meet the hardware compatibility requirements of Windows 11.
What if my hardware isn’t compatible for Windows 11?
Call ITS!
We’ll work with your business to develop a plan for purchasing new equipment that does support Windows 11. If that is not an option, Microsoft will continue developing security updates for Windows 10, for a limited time, but they will not be free. These subscription updates will be available for up to three years. And while there may be back-end ways to update your incompatible device to Windows 11, ITS doesn’t recommend going down that road, as these act as crutches and will continue to provide headaches for you and your business in the months to come.
Call 970-255-0480, and we'll set your company on the right path today!
